This is our original formula — a traditional liquid hand soap with farm-distilled Tuscan Blue rosemary, brightened with eucalyptus essential oil sourced. Hand-batched, hand-labeled, 4 fl oz in a small pump bottle.

A note about the look: This soap isn't crystal clear. The slight cloudiness in the bottle comes from the resinous side of Tuscan Blue rosemary — a natural characteristic of the cultivar that we don't filter out, because it's part of what makes this rosemary smell like rosemary and not like a chemical knockoff.

A small note on what's in it: this is a standard liquid-soap formulation — a hand-soap surfactant base with Sodium Laureth Sulfate as the primary, balanced with the gentler Cocamidopropyl Betaine and Lauryl Glucoside. It lathers up fast and rinses clean. If sulfate-free is non-negotiable for you, this one isn't your bottle — our newer Hydrating Liquid Hand Gel (sulfate-free, same farm-distilled Tuscan Blue rosemary) is.

What's farm-distilled here: our Tuscan Blue rosemary essential oil and our rosemary hydrosol — both come off our still alongside each other. What's sourced: the surfactant base, glycerin, preservatives, and the eucalyptus essential oil.

Why we made it. This was the first rosemary soap we ever bottled — the original Tuscan Breeze formula. It's been on the shelf for customers who like a fast-lathering, classic hand soap with our farm rosemary. We've since moved to a hydrating gel as our main hand-soap formula, but the last few bottles of the original remain — and they're as good now as they were when we first put them in the pump.

I love this oil!

I love this oil! I am using it almost everywhere on my body and it is so helpful to my old, aged skin! Unlike massage oil, this oil is absorbed so quickly, I don't have to worry about it getting messy on my clothes. The scent, like all their other products, is very pleasant! I have already purchased another and bigger bottle because this is definitely going to be part of my daily routine! For grins, I took a picture before I applied the oil and then within another minute, I took an "after" picture. I can see the difference!!! Can you??

Perfect Gift! BUT..

I really LOVE these scents! All of them are really great - soft and relaxing but I think my favorite is Spiced Snow. I ordered three different scents to send to my sister for Christmas but have ended up keeping for myself. Oh dear. Guess I'll have to order more...LOL!

I Love AGAIN!

I already loved the Lavender Body Wash, but after trying the Rosemary & Eucalyptus body wash, I would rate it just as highly—maybe even higher. I think it’s the fragrance; it’s so refreshing that I find myself wanting to keep inhaling it. Like all of Homestead’s lavender products, this wash leaves my skin feeling soft and truly clean. I appreciate that they use top-of-the-line ingredients and take great care to ensure their products are made safely and cleanly, which gives me a lot of confidence in what they offer

The lemon lavender scones are absolutely divine!

The lemon lavender scones are absolutely divine! I baked them for family brunch today and they were a big hit. The little pops of lemon are tart and tasty, the lavender is subtly sublime.

Awesome homemade products

The lavender sachet was a perfect stocking stuffer and it smelled so good. I love the smell of both the candle and body soap. Great packaging and a wonderful price for something home grown and hand made. Highly recommend and I will definitely shop with them again!

I am loving this hand wash!

I am loving this hand wash! After lathering up, it smells so good. When I rinse my hands and dry, give a second and my hands are so soft! I really, really like this wash! I keep it in my guest bathroom so my friends can enjoy it too!

HLF is one put-together, top-notch operation. We received our lavender spray quickly and were sent updates throughout the shipping process. The products are of impeccable quality and we hope that they expand their product line soon. We will always have something of theirs on our shelves.

OH and I forgot to mention, for those with man beards (if you’re asking, what that is, you don’t have one) I use the massage oil as a nighttime, before bed, beard oil. There is now no way I can go a night without it.

Are your soaps safe for sensitive skin?

Absolutely. Our artisan soaps are made with gentle, plant-based ingredients and rich botanical oils — no harsh detergents, sulfates, or parabens. They’re designed to cleanse gently and soothe even the most delicate skin types.

Do you make all of your soap on the farm?

We craft many of our lavender and rosemary soaps right here at Homestead Lavender Farm using high-quality melt & pour and cold-process bases. We also hand-select a few artisan bars from trusted makers who share our same clean-ingredient and farm-fresh values. Whether made by our hands or theirs, every bar earns its place on our shelves for its purity, performance, and that unmistakable blend of lavender calm and rosemary clarity.

How long will my bar of soap last?

With a little TLC, one bar can last several weeks. Let it dry between uses — we recommend pairing it with our soap pouch or Alderwood dish to keep it high and dry. (Soap hates soggy bottoms.)

Are your products tested on animals?

Never. We believe in kindness from seed to shelf. Our products are cruelty-free, vegan-friendly, and made with love — no animal testing, no shortcuts, no nonsense.

What’s the shelf life of your bath and body products?

Most Homestead Lavender Farm bath and body items last 12–24 months when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Use within a year for best fragrance and freshness — nature’s beauty is always better enjoyed sooner than later.

Do your soaps contain preservatives?

Our artisan soaps are made using premium melt & pour and cold-process bases, chosen for their quality and clean ingredient profiles. These bases already include mild, skin-safe preservatives to ensure stability and freshness — especially important for products that come in contact with water. We never add anything unnecessary; every ingredient has a purpose and passes our “Homestead clean” standard.

Can I use your soaps on my face?

Many of our lavender-based and goat-milk soaps are gentle enough for facial use. If you have very sensitive or dry skin, patch test first — lavender is calming, but everyone’s skin sings its own tune.

What’s the difference between bar soap and body wash?

Our bar soaps are crafted through traditional methods and rich in natural glycerin for a soft, moisturizing lather. Our body wash uses a gentle, plant-based liquid base — equally cleansing but designed for easy use and quick rinsing.

How should I store my bath and body products?

Keep your products in a cool, dry spot, away from steamy bathrooms or direct sunlight. Natural ingredients like to stay comfortable — too much humidity or heat can shorten shelf life or fade scent.

Do your products contain artificial colors?

We keep it natural whenever possible — botanical powders, clays, and micas for a soft, earthy glow. No neon, no gimmicks — just color inspired by the fields.
