This is our original formula — a traditional liquid hand soap with farm-distilled Tuscan Blue rosemary, brightened with eucalyptus essential oil sourced. Hand-batched, hand-labeled, 4 fl oz in a small pump bottle.

A note about the look: This soap isn't crystal clear. The slight cloudiness in the bottle comes from the resinous side of Tuscan Blue rosemary — a natural characteristic of the cultivar that we don't filter out, because it's part of what makes this rosemary smell like rosemary and not like a chemical knockoff.

A small note on what's in it: this is a standard liquid-soap formulation — a hand-soap surfactant base with Sodium Laureth Sulfate as the primary, balanced with the gentler Cocamidopropyl Betaine and Lauryl Glucoside. It lathers up fast and rinses clean. If sulfate-free is non-negotiable for you, this one isn't your bottle — our newer Hydrating Liquid Hand Gel (sulfate-free, same farm-distilled Tuscan Blue rosemary) is.

What's farm-distilled here: our Tuscan Blue rosemary essential oil and our rosemary hydrosol — both come off our still alongside each other. What's sourced: the surfactant base, glycerin, preservatives, and the eucalyptus essential oil.

Why we made it. This was the first rosemary soap we ever bottled — the original Tuscan Breeze formula. It's been on the shelf for customers who like a fast-lathering, classic hand soap with our farm rosemary. We've since moved to a hydrating gel as our main hand-soap formula, but the last few bottles of the original remain — and they're as good now as they were when we first put them in the pump.

Ingredients (corrected formula): Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Lauryl Glucoside, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Rosemary Hydrosol, Rosemary (Tuscan Blue) Oil, Eucalyptus Oil.
