Our Continuing Journey

After 30 years in the Marine Corps, my hubby and I decided to root down and build a nest. Being a nurse who can work from anywhere, we agreed to get a place in Tennessee. So, we ended up with a cozy rural home that we adore!

Discovering a fun hobby is as tricky as finding a four-leaf clover! So, when our creative juices started flowing, we kicked off a quirky venture that raises chickens, ducks, and geese for sale while also gathering their eggs to sell.

Researching after acquiring acreage, we settled on lavender as the sustainable crop choice. Currently, lavender reigns supreme as the star player in our all-natural, homemade goodies.

Our journey began with a pint-sized stovetop copper still, but we've leveled up to a much larger stainless steel still created by a US company, Clawhammer.

Ever expanding, we are adding various flowers and extending the lavender fields, our goal for 2025 is to open the farm to the public for U-Cut days for collecting flowers and bundles of lavender!

Furthering our creative need... Employing our Co2 laser and CNC router, we use our proficiency to craft a range of wooden signs/plaques, decorations for the wall, and shelf items. Our custom designs and precision craftsmanship, combined with an array of wood and stain options, provides customers with unique and attractive home décor pieces.

We want to thank you for visiting our website. If you're in the local area, please feel free to stop by the Homestead Lavender Farm. We would love to meet you!

our little helpers

Just another day on the farm gearing up to till in order to prep lavender fields and uncovered it was tangled in twine. The hand raised babies figured they could pitch in!

Forever Prepping!

This year in 2024, the mission to plant 4,000 diverse plants is a wild ride. But hey, we're not giving up, taking it day by day and moving on!
