It all started with a single row of lavender and a whole lotta heart.

We’re Jason and Kari Chapman—two dreamers with dirt under our nails and hope in our boots. After 30 years of service in the U.S. Marine Corps, Jason traded combat boots for coveralls, and Kari, a registered nurse with a love for all things herbal, began planting seeds of a new kind of healing. Together, we founded Homestead Growers by J&K, LLC and developed the farm you now know as Homestead Lavender Farm, tucked right into the bowl of Morrison, Tennessee—where the weather’s wild, but the lavender still thrives.

What began as a humble patch of purple in 2021 has grown into 14 blooming fields, rows of rosemary, and a whole line of handcrafted products—from essential oils and soaps to soothing sprays and sweet treats. We grow, harvest, and distill right here on the farm, because we believe the best things come straight from the source. No shortcuts. No fluff. Just farm-grown goodness with a purpose.
