Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the adventure of rural living! 🌾✨ We’re all about embracing the challenges that come with it—think of it as fine-tuning our farming skills while riding the wave of transformation. And hey, while we can’t escape the aging process (whoever finds that fountain of youth gets a medal 🥇), we can still make the most of our time on the land, learning and growing every step of the way! 🌱
W are excited to announce that for our 2025 season, we’re offering a limited number of part-time volunteer spots! 🙌 Join us and become part of our farm community, helping to boost our farm’s efficiency while soaking in the tranquil vibes of lavender fields. 💜
What’s waiting for you? A laid-back atmosphere, fresh air, and the chance to get dirty working with beautiful lavender! Plus, as a sweet thank-you, each volunteer will receive a fresh bouquet of lavender every week! 💐
Here’s the scoop on what you need to be part of the fun:
- You need to be 14 years old or older. 🎉
- You shouldn’t mind getting your hands a little dirty (it’s all part of the fun!). 🌍
- You’ll need to commit to about 4 hours each week (2-4 hours per day from May to August). ⏰
- Be ready to embrace whatever Mother Nature throws at us—rain, shine, mud, and all! ☔🌞
- And just a heads-up: encountering critters like spiders 🕷️, ticks 🐍, insects 🦟, pesky mosquitoes, and our furry friends (dogs 🐶 and chickens 🐔, too!) is all part of the great outdoor experience!
What will you be doing? A variety of awesome tasks, such as:
- Planting plugs and cuttings that will bloom into beauty. 🌸
- Deadheading, pinching, and pruning flowers—keeping them looking their best! ✂️
- Row weeding/maintenance for that satisfying feeling of nurturing the earth. 🌿
- Raking and assisting with irrigation to keep things running smoothly. 💧
- Harvesting and distilling the fruits of your labor (lavender oil, anyone? 🌼✨).

Once your volunteer application lands in our inbox, get ready to shake things up at the farm! We'll show you the lavender cutting ropes and hand you a bucket for some floral fun.
How long do you have to be here? It's up to you. Every bit of help is appreciated!

What should you bring?
You never know what the weather will bring. Given the recent warmth of the last two years, it's crucial to dress smartly. And with all the recent rains, closed-toed shoes are a must-have, especially since there might be mud around.
Additional items you may want to bring:
- scissors or small pruners
- gloves (if desired) hat and sunglasses
- water, or preferred non-alcoholic beverage
- bench seat or folding chair
- sunscreen
If you have a battery operated 8" trimmer, we encourage you to bring it for a faster and easier job! We will demonstrate how to employ it for trimming the lavender. Kindly ensure to personalize it with your name.
