A blend that smells like the slow part of an evening.
This one isn’t for productivity. It’s for the after — the quiet hour, the slow bath, the moment when you’ve already done what needed doing and you’re letting your shoulders come down from your ears. Glide it across your wrists and the back of your neck, breathe in once, and let the rest of the day move further away.
The blend is floral, warm, and slightly resinous — built around our farm-grown Vera lavender (the classic Lavandula angustifolia cultivar — gentler and more floral than our Bold blend) and Bulgarian rose absolute, anchored by the soft sweetness of Peru balsam, lifted by a touch of ylang ylang, and quietly grounded by Indian frankincense. It smells like a candlelit room with the windows open — the way perfume used to mean something.
What’s ours, what’s sourced. The lead lavender note in this roller — our Vera cultivar — is grown and steam-distilled right here on the farm. The rest of the essential oils are sourced from places with long histories of producing them well: rose from Bulgaria, balsam from Peru, ylang ylang from the warm islands where it grows, frankincense from India. We give each one credit by name because origin shapes how an essential oil ends up smelling. It’s carried in fractionated coconut oil (a light, odorless MCT) plus a small amount of a nutrient-rich botanical seed-oil blend — organic sunflower, black currant, black cumin (nigella), organic hemp, organic rosehip, organic tamanu, avocado, and vitamin E — for skin conditioning.
How to use. Twist the cap off, glide the rollerball lightly across your wrists, the back of your neck, your collarbone, or behind your ears. The blend is pre-diluted to a safe topical strength (about 7% essential oil in a carrier base) — no extra dilution needed.
A note on use. This blend contains Peru balsam. About 1–2% of people are sensitive to it (often the same people who react to cinnamon or clove), so if you’ve ever had skin sensitivity to either, patch-test on a small area before applying widely. Don’t use on broken skin or near the eyes. Skip during pregnancy or nursing without checking with your healthcare provider — I’m a registered nurse, and I’d give the same advice in person.
The bottle. 10 ml frosted glass roller (net weight 0.3 oz / 8.4 g), steel rollerball, brushed metal cap. Frosted glass to protect the oils from UV and add a softer apothecary feel. Pocket-sized on purpose.
