This is the bar we make ourselves on the farm — a small 3.2 oz glycerin soap, hand-poured in batches of two dozen, scented end-to-end with our signature Bold lavender blend.

The base is sourced: a clear, high-foaming glycerin melt-and-pour soap. We chose it for two reasons — it's gentle on skin (glycerin draws moisture, doesn't strip it), and it's a clean canvas for the lavender. Most of the bar's character comes from what we add, not what we start with.

What we add is our Bold blend at 5% — the same four-cultivar lavender recipe in our Body Oil 'Bold': Grosso 50%, Phenomenal 30%, Sensational 15%, and Vera 5%. All grown, harvested, and steam-distilled on our Tennessee farm. 5% is a meaningful fragrance load for a soap — most lavender bars run a fraction of that. Lather it under warm water and the lavender blooms; let the bar dry on a draining dish and it stays fresh between uses.

What the bar looks like. Clear — that's what melt-and-pour does best. We add a very light lavender mica tint so the bar has a soft color in the wrap, but it's a whisper of lavender, not Easter-egg purple. The clarity is part of the appeal: nothing to hide.

Two shapes in rotation — square and rectangle, both 3.2 oz. Same recipe, same Bold blend, same weight; just two molds in our kitchen. You’ll receive whichever shape we're pouring that week.

A note on melt-and-pour vs cold-process Soap purists will tell you cold-process is the "real" soap. We don't disagree — but melt-and-pour has its place too. It lets us put more of our lavender into the bar (no saponification step that can dull the EO), and it gives us a clear bar where the scent does the talking. We'd rather make an honest melt-and-pour with our own EO than dilute the scent through a longer process.

How to use: Wet, lather, rinse. Let the bar dry between uses on a draining dish — glycerin soaps love water but dissolve faster than cold-process bars, so a few minutes of air after each wash extends the life of the bar.

About the wrap: Paper-wrapped with a printed band. As our label design evolves, you may receive an older purple wrap or the newer light-cream wrap — same bar inside, same Bold blend, same farm.
