The text explains how steam distillation is the most common process for extracting lavender essential oil. Lavender is sensitive to steam, and when a plant is sensitive to steam, steam distillation is the preferred method to obtain its delicate oils. Plant material is placed on a screen or perforated grid at a specific height above the base of the still. Water is boiled to generate steam, which allows distillation to occur at low pressure. The final stages involve the steam and oil molecules passing through a cooling condenser, which breaks up the combined molecule into an oil solution and a byproduct of water, known as hydrosol.

It is natural to feel anxious when unsure of the marketability of a manufactured product, particularly when competing against hundreds of rivals. Ultimately, we took the risk and are giving it a go.  Fear of marketability can be expected when launching a new item, especially with hundreds of competitors. We took a chance and have decided to pursue it.
