You won’t smell it as “rose.” You’ll smell it as \u003cem\u003efinished\u003c\/em\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe base is \u003cstrong\u003ecertified organic beeswax\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003enaturally deodorized cocoa butter\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003ecastor oil\u003c\/strong\u003e, and a \u003cstrong\u003enourishing body oil blend\u003c\/strong\u003e rich in olive oil and vitamin E. The cocoa butter is deodorized on purpose — I wanted the lavender and rosemary leading the scent, not the cocoa. (A personal preference of mine: cocoa is a beautiful ingredient, but I’d rather it stay quiet here than crowd the room.) The result melts at lip-temperature into a smooth, comfortable layer that stays put without feeling waxy.
